Design and Calculations

The drawing office team are capable of project design from concept to completion and have many years experience in various areas of engineering from bespoke ornamental steelwork and architectural fabrications to structural steel buildings (and pretty much everything in between!).

Balustrades

Balustrades always makes an immediate visual impact to any building or walkway. It is actually the only part of a building that people actually TOUCH as part of the use of the building so architects are very demanding in terms of aesthetics.

We ensure that balustrade complies with UK building regulations and will carry out all design calculations.

Stairs & Ladders

We manufacture steel stairs for a vast range of projects and increasingly feature steel stairs to high architectural standards incorporating stainless steel and glass.

Open Steel Flooring

Open Steel Flooring is available in many combinations to suit high and low loadings under various supported configurations.

Its always best to talk to us about your requirements – we’ll carry out your stress calculations and guide you in your design / selection process.

We source standard floor meshes from the UK and certain special meshes from Europe. We design and manufacture bespoke floor panels to suit Ultra Heavy Loadings predominantly for vehicle access routes.

Architectural Steel

Where a more elegant or artistic solution is required, RJW can provide complex offerings in mild steel, stainless, Glass and Aluminium and produce complex 3D shapes and forms.

Platforms

We manufacture and install platforms which is a major product line for us. Platforms are found in industrial plant everywhere.

We supply structural steel to Execution Class 2 as defined by BS EN ISO 1090.
